I would say buying this reel took me quite sometimes to ponder on but the temptation of course is too great to be denied so from now on this reel is mine haha.
FYI i bought it second hand at $350 sgd dollars hehe. For its condition i would say it is worth the money man.

Still need to save up for my wishlist of buying Xzoga PE4 Spinning rod to pair with this beauty but for temporary pairing will be with my Pioneer spinning rod which i think is a PE 3.
Good enough to chiong GT pond liaoz haha

Usage of it will be for jigging , kelong and if got chance by the shore bah.

020109 Pasir Ris Farmway 3

Me , Simon and Ah ho went to farmway 3 today. I got two, one of which never got to land coz line break just nice when i was going to fall into the waters .. haha heng ar ... For Ah ho caught two patins , Simon caught the monster ...

Around 1500hrs , the monster decided to whack one of our baits... Quite a fighter i would say . Three of us took turns to fight the monster... A feeling of excitement !

First Day of the New Year 2009

Simon and i decided at around 0020hrs that we should go down to Taman Jurong Skill Fishing Pond to start his fishing revolution.

Both of us had three hours, for myself i got two KBLs.
As for Simon, he was quite sad as he did not even saw his float went down ( no bite at all ) until just 20 mins more to go. The float went down right in front of us! He was damn excited over the fighting of the fish. He landed the KBL with a delighted look ...
Phew !!! ... First day of the new year, First ever fishing rod he had , First fish to start for him.

Looking forward to our Friday 020109 trip to Farmway 3 CnR pond.

Personal Record Break at Aunty Pond

At around 3plus , it was raining heavily while i was on my way to fazli house for his newborn son celebration. When i reach faz's house, weisheng mentioned about how to even go for fishing when it is raining cats and dogs. As it was still raining heavily when we decided to leave fazli house , i suggested that we go to Ah Ho's house to wait for the rain to subside. After watching tv for awhile, the heavy rain finally goes into a dizzle mode. Ah Ho gave the signal, lets chiong !!! We reached Aunty Pond around 530pm, ordered a few drinks and quickly started on our fishing session.

This is the 5th time i am fishing at aunty pond and previously the highest record landed was 3 ACK. It has been kind of bad luck for me for the previous few times fishing there as i was using 6lbs main line and when fish is on, my line tend to snap.So for this time round i will not be taking any chances as i have changed my main line to 20lbs. Although 20lbs main line sounds abit kiasu, but i must say that the fishes cannot really be landed at aunty pond with 6lbs main line when i can use 6lbs main line to land fishes in Pasir Ris Pro Pond.







Well a fruitful session last evening, i broke my personal best with 7 fishes. Catch last evening : 4 KBL , 4 Ang Kuai , 3 ACK and 3 mangrove jack. Total of 14 fishes.
